Solution viscosity measurement
The viscosity average molecular weight can be determined from the measurement of the limiting viscosity (e.g., nylon, PET, PC).
The intrinsic viscosity [η] of the polymer diluted solution is determined using a capillary viscometer, and the viscosity equation [η] = KM^a is used to calculate M (the viscosity average molecular weight).
